Troon promotes two execs

Troon execs promoted

Troon, the world’s largest golf management company, has promoted two top executives: Charlene (Lowry) Gallob has been promoted to senior vice president, procurement and Jeff Hansen has been promoted to senior vice president, associate general counsel.

Gallob, who joined Troon in 1999, has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality purchasing. Prior to joining Troon, she spent the previous seven years as director of purchasing for Promus/Doubletree Hotels. She has also held positions with Ramada and Choice Hotels. Her current responsibilities include negotiating and oversight of all national account programs with key vendor partners, as well as development of strategic marketing relationships.

Hansen has more than 20 years of legal experience in areas of commercial, litigation and employment law. He has spent the past seven years focused on golf, hospitality and employment related matters with Troon. Prior to joining Troon, Hansen practiced law with a small firm in Nebraska. He is now responsible for assisting the company’s general counsel with all legal matters.

Headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Troon has the largest portfolio of managed golf courses in the world with 238 18-hole equivelent courses throughout 36 states and 26 countries outside of the United States.
