Integrity adds second Kentucky course

Raven Rock Golf Course

Orlando Fla.-based Integrity Golf Company has added Raven Rock Golf Course in Jenkins, Ky. to its portfolio of courses. The lease agreement, effect Aug. 1, is the company’s second course in Kentucky. In early July, it announced that it had taken over operations at Crooked Creek Golf Course in London, Ky. It also signed contracts with two other courses in July: Tot Hill Farm Golf Club in North Carolina and Venetian Bay Golf Club in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.

This brings the management company’s portfolio to 34 golf facilities in six states: Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Owned by TECO Coal, Raven Rock is one of the state’s first golf courses built on a reclaimed mining strip.

The par-70, 6,303-yard public golf courses features several elevation changes that reach nearly 3,000 feet near the quarry. A new clubhouse with banquet facilities and a full-service restaurant recently opened.

Paul Fleming, the property’s longtime golf professional and general manager, has been retained by Integrity Golf and will continue to run the 18-hole facility.

“The future looks real exciting with a golf company like Integrity Golf now in charge,” Fleming said in a news release. “I can’t wait to start sharing the Integrity Golf network with our golfers and community.” 

Fleming started his career at Raven Rock in 2007 as an assistant pro and was later promote to head professional in 2011.

“We look forward to partnering with the Raven Rock ownership and the surrounding community,” Integrity Golf Company President and CEO Gene Garrote said. “We’re eager to start sharing our national expertise and complementing everybody’s ongoing efforts and stewardship with this notable property. We’re excited about the future viability of Raven Rock.”
